The staff was said to be in a “complete shock” after they were told that they could be out of work as a result of closing.

Insijder said to the car seller: “No one knew anything about it, not even managers, so it came as a total shock.”

“There was no offer that people stayed elsewhere with Marshalls, but we were told that the counseling period was happening.

“The hardest part for me is the movement of all the staff. I love him here, it’s a great crowd and now all of us are expected to scatter,” they added.

After the bomb, some of the sales executives from the branches jumped to LinkedIn to find a new job.

Adrian Nestart, Senior Executive Director of Sales on the Horsham site, wrote: “I am sad to announce that I am now open to new opportunities and looking for a position in the sales department within the motor shop.

“Working at Volkswagen Horsham was an unforgettable experience – not only professionally, but also personally.

“We really were a family there and I loved every moment spent with my colleagues. It’s hard goodbye, but I’m excited to see what the future has.

“If anyone knows about any role or capabilities, I would appreciate the relationship and support.”

The spokesman said to the Car Dialer Magazine magazine: “As we have said before, we, along with the whole motor industry, are moving through the period of unprecedented changes, encouraged by new technologies and changing customer expectations.

“The necessary evolution of the Volkswagen Group UK seller’s network, to ensure that we have the right representation to meet the future needs of our customers, a process that has been in progress for several years and will continue in the future.

“In this case, we can confirm that the towns of the Marshall Motor Group in Horsham and Aylesbury will close from the end of next month.

“Marshall Motor Group will write to its customers to advise them about alternative sales, services and parts. Due to legal requirements and confidential agreements, we cannot provide further details.”

This comes after BCA has revealed that it closes a Banbury branch in Oxfordshire, and hundreds have now been set up to lose their jobs.

The company, which itself is the “biggest British” job with used vehicles, closes its manager’s place.

Immediately before Christmas, we were told to increase production and we broke a lot more cars than usual, and this is the gratitude we get for it!

It will move to existing Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire operations.

Employees said about an unexpected move at the end of January, and they gave 45 days to prepare.

The last working day will be on March 14 before the blinds are permanently collapsed.

The staff claimed that the news was “coming out of Vedra from the veil” leaving them “shocked and angry,” as Banbury Guardian reported.

One said, “There are a lot of people in BCA now and very upset about the decision.

“We had no notice, the announcement of 200 release, and the center that moved to Bedford had just left more from Vedrog.

“Just before Christmas, we were told to increase production and we broke a lot more cars than usual, and this is the gratitude we get for it!”

A member of the staff, who is in the 60s, shared the fear of being “too old” to find another job while they are too young to withdraw.

They added that they were “thrown into a recess” during the move.

The place of Chipping Warden takes nine years.

BCA spokesman said: “BCA confirmed that the Remarketing Chipping Warden Center moved to other places that operate in Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire and opened a counseling with the staff.

“Like all companies, BCA has to develop its operational base in accordance with its growth travel and changing the external environment and the needs of our customers to ensure that we continue to provide a leading service and support in the market.”
