Tyga and Blac Chyna Finalize Custody Agreement Over Son King Cairo

Tyga and Blac Chyna have settled on custody of their 11-year-old son, King Cairo.

The rapper (34) and the model (35) are settling long-standing legal disputes amicably.

TMZ first broke the story.

The media reported that a judge ordered Chyna, born Angela White, and Tyga, born Michael Stevenson, to use a program to monitor their parenting communications.

The two will also share joint and legal physical custody, including joint decision-making regarding their son’s health, education and general well-being. King will spend Monday through Friday with dad Tyga and Friday through Monday with Chyna. Tyga will also not pay child support.

In documents obtained by PEOPLE in July, Chyna filed for paternity with Tyga over their son. She claimed that the relationship had been established, and asked for joint legal and physical custody.

At the time, Tyga responded to The Shade Room’s post about the filing, writing, “10 years later … no … stick to your Sat-Mon schedule.”

In October, Chyna opened up about her recent custody request in an interview with Nick Viall and Natalie Joy on their podcast Viall files. When asked how co-parenting with her ex is going amid the legal battle, she said she wants to keep King’s routine as normal as possible.

“For the first four years of Kingy’s life I had him Monday through Friday, didn’t I?” Chyna said. “And then I got pregnant with Dream. And it was like school, and this, and the pregnancy, and the new relationship… it was like a lot for me. And then our schedules changed.”

Blac Chyna opens up about ‘custody battle’ with Tyga for son King: ‘I can’t wait until it’s over’

“Then I had King on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and then I took him to school on Monday. It was the same number of days, but we just had to switch because of schooling. I thought, I’m just going to be realistic with myself, and this was the best schedule for me,” she continued.

“But other than that, everything was fine until recently this year. And then it dawned on me what had happened. He wanted to keep King longer after I settled the Kardashian case. You know what I’m saying? So that’s when he kind of snuck it in ,” Cyna argued.

She later added that she “can’t wait” for her parents to agree, saying she wishes things had been different.

Chyna is also mother to daughter Dream, 7, who she shares with ex Rob Kardashian.
