Tyla Gives Heavenly Performance in Feather Wings and Blinged Out Lingerie at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Tyla ruled the stage with her singing — and style! — at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret fashion show!

On Tuesday, October 15, the 22-year-old musician brought her piano tunes to an event in New York City as she dazzled in a lingerie brand look that rivaled the runway models around her.

To sing her hit “Water” as well as “PUSH 2 START,” the singer donned an elaborate, layered top and bottom — and matching garter belt.

Along with the see-through set, Tyla wore a pair of sparkly heels, chunky rings and a glittery makeup look. Oh, and perhaps the most important part: a giant pair of fluffy white angel wings.

Earlier in the night, Tyla also made an impression on the pre-show carpet in a very different look: a hot pink floor-length dress.

She paired the stunning dress – which featured beaded detailing, a plunging neckline and a cascading ruffled train – with a messy updo, sparkly sandals and loads of jewellery.

The Grammy-winning artist, whose full name is Tyla Laura Seethal, was one of several musicians on the lineup for the 2024 fashion show, setting a new standard after the event returned after a six-year hiatus with an all-female lineup and emphasis on inclusion. .

Other performances included Cher and Lisa.

Before the show, Tyla said Rolling Stone that growing up she was “mesmerized” by the iconic fashion show and its “stunning outfits” and “iconic wings.”

The South African singer is no stranger to making waves with her fashion. At the 2024 Met Gala, her unforgettable custom sand Balmain gown left the audience completely mesmerized. The dress was so difficult to carry, Tyla had to be carried up the stairs in the unbendable dress, which ended up being one of the most viral moments of the night.

She also stunned attendees and the internet when Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing cut off the bottom half of her dress after the carpet. Tyla paired the dress with an hourglass bag and sand applied to her forearm and shoulder.

Another jaw-dropping look from Tyla came at the 2024 MTV VMAs, where she won the award for Best Afrobeats. She dazzled on the red carpet thanks to a neon yellow dress, plus fun, bright accessories like her strappy pink Rene Caovilla heels.

The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show marked the return of the annual spectacle to the runways after it was canceled in 2019 amid criticism of its lack of inclusivity.

The brand promised a more inclusive fashion show this year. “The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will deliver exactly what our customers have been asking for — glamour, runway, fashion, fun, wings, fun — all through a strong, modern lens that reflects who we are today,” a Victoria’s Secret representative shared in a statement with TO PEOPLE at that time. “We are thrilled to share the articulation of this iconic, female-led property later this year!”

Iconic models like Gigi Hadid, Taylor Hill and Candice Swanepoel walked the runway, while Tyra Banks closed the show with a triumphant return to the show.
