Udit Raj is an Indian politician and spokesperson of the Indian National Congress (INC). He is a former MP from New Delhi North West constituency.

Udit Raj was born on 26 January 1961 in Ram Nagar, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh (62 years; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Aquarius. He completed his primary education from Purv Madhyamik Vidyalaya Samogara, Allahabad and his higher secondary education (12th class) from Lala Ramlal Aggarwal Inter College Sirsa, Allahabad. Spreading false news in the Unnao murder case
In February 2021, Udit posted a tweet about the Unnao murder case of three minor girls, writing,

The Uttar Pradesh police took notice of the tweet and lodged an FIR against Udit Raj at the Kotwali (Sadar) police station in Unnao under Section 153 (provocation with intent to cause riots) of the IPC and Section 66 of the Information Technology Act. . Remarks against President Draupadi Murmu
In October 2022, Udit used disrespectful language against President Draupadi Murmu while tweeting in praise of salt production in Gujarat. she says,
Gujarat produces 76% of the country’s salt. It can be said that people across the country eat the salt of Gujarat. “
Udit was offended and targeted Murmu, saying,
No country should have a president like Drupadi Murmu. This is the height of flattery. She said 70% of people eat salt from Gujarat. Eat salt all your life and you will know the truth. “
The National Council for Women summoned Udit to hear his remarks. Congress later excluded him over his remarks. Udit apologized for his remarks and said that these are my personal views and that political parties have nothing to do with my views.
