Usher Shares Glimpse of His Bali Vacation Including a Flower Petal Pool Personalized with His Name

Usher goes “nice and slow” when it comes to relaxing in Bali.

On Saturday, the 45-year-old “My Boo” singer offered his 13 million Instagram followers a peek into his soothing island vacation — which included a dip in a petal-filled pool and a little yoga.

The musician started his series of Instagram Story posts with a photo of himself smiling wrapped in a white towel. Drops of water could be seen on his skin as he sat in the car. He wrote over the photo: “Yoga in Bali!”

Usher then shared several snaps of his private pool, which was covered in red and white flower petals that read: “Welcome to Boas, Bali Usher.” He took several shots of himself swimming at the bottom of the petal-covered pool, before deciding to make a bigger splash.

In the video clip, he could be seen firing a cannonball into the center of the water in slow motion from the edge. His great downpour swept most of the petals out of the pool.

Usher seems to have been spending a lot of time outside during his private trip, even enjoying some local fruit for breakfast. He showed a shot of his plate filled with a halved mangosteen.

Usher ended the day with yoga on the outdoor patio in the sun. He shared photos of himself holding his hands together in a pose with his face pointing towards the sky.

In his last shot, he took a more difficult pose, similar to a handstand. His slippers and a rolled towel could be seen lying near him on the platform.

Usher’s Bali getaway comes just weeks after the “U Got It Bad” singer tied the knot with longtime love Jennifer Goicoechea in Las Vegas on Feb. 11, after the singer performed at Super Bowl LVIII.

The couple exchanged vows in Vegas Weddings’ The Fast Lane tunnel, and Usher’s mother, Jonnetta Patton, served as the couple’s witness, according to the wedding certificate.

For the big event, Goicoechea, 40, was dressed in an all-white pantsuit with an off-the-shoulder jacket, tied at the waist and wide-leg pants, while Usher wore a white fur coat over a black tuxedo.

A rep for the singer told PEOPLE at the time, “We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea have taken the next step in their relationship and tied the knot Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family.”

“They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for their well wishes,” added the representative.
