The clawed nails that Taylor Swift wore to the 2024 Golden Globes are a very important clue to her next move, at least according to Swiftie’s latest social media chatter.
The “Bad Blood” singer, 34, wore a floor-length metallic green Gucci dress to the event with matching Christian Louboutins. But sharp-eyed Swifties spotted her donut-shaped nail extensions with extra sparkle.
Her entire look had a snake vibe to it and hinted that she would be her next reissue Reputation (Taylor’s Version) since she wore nails in a similar style in the 2017 video for “Look What You Made Me Do.”

But some Swifties on TikTok and Xu (formally Twitter) believe that her nails hint at a very important development in her personal life.
“Guys, her nails are done, like dudes. I guess she probably, most likely didn’t do her own nails. She never has her nails done,” the TikTok user said in the video. “You might think that’s a crazy haircut thing, but it doesn’t mean anything…” the user waved his finger at the camera.

Whether her nails are just a fashion choice or an Easter egg for Reputation (Taylor’s Version) remains to be seen, but the singer previously dropped hints about the album, revealing for TIME that its overall aesthetic is “a goth-punk moment of female rage at being screwed over by the entire social structure.”

She also teased that the vault songs from the record – which are songs that didn’t make up the initial part of the album she releases on her overdubs – are “fire”.
