I shot many shots at least 10-15 times. If my performance is appreciated, then all credit should go to director Kartik as he ensured that I struck the right balance between over-action and subtlety. Even though we had Karunakaran and VTV Ganesh to provide some laughs, I had to take on this sitcom project almost single-handedly. I play a character who is equally passionate. In fact, one of the scenes where I pester the heroine to fall in love with me is very similar to the famous Mr. Chandramouli scene in the movie. “I called her ‘chellakkutti’ in that scene. The other one took 10 to 15 takes.”

It’s quite difficult to shoot a few shots with your eyes closed. I wore glasses in many scenes, but for the sake of authenticity, the director asked me to close my eyes.
