Valerie Bertinelli has a new man in her life!
On Tuesday, the 63-year-old Food Network alum revealed NOW TODAY she is currently in a relationship again since finalizing her divorce from her husband of 10 years, Tom Vitale, in November 2022.

“I met someone. And I am incredibly grateful to him,” she told the newspaper. “It’s unlike any relationship I’ve ever experienced with a man. I don’t want to say too much, but I feel incredibly blessed and lucky to have met him, because I didn’t expect it!”
Bertinelli went on to talk about her mystery man: “He wasn’t on my radar. I wanted to die with my six cats and my dog and be incredibly happy doing it. So this came out of left field, and I’m grateful that it did. He is very special.”
She added that her beloved came at the right time, because if he had arrived earlier, things might not have worked out.

“I really want women and men to understand that this is a job that you do [on yourself] it can lead you to meet someone like I was lucky enough to meet right now. This would not have happened three years ago, four years ago, last year – it would not have happened. And I feel incredibly lucky to have met him and formed a relationship with him.”
Bertinelli spoke with the outlet to promote her cookbook Let yourself goout April 2.

On Sunday, she hit the red carpet at the Oscars in support of her son, Wolfgang Van Halen, who was nominated for “I’m Just Ken” from Barbie.
And on Monday, Bertinelli hinted at a change in her status.
After re-sharing an Instagram video from last June in which she vowed not to date after her divorce, the actress wrote, “This has not aged well🤪🥰.”

On Tuesday, she posted another post on Instagram explaining her recent outlook on life and thanking her fans.
“I’m loving my life right now,” Bertinelli wrote. “It’s not something I thought I’d say two years ago. And hey, thank you all for staying on this ride with me. Stick with me through the tears to get to the joy on the other side.”
