Peacock Vampire Academy Release date, story, what to expect and more
Vampire Academy will launch on Peacock on September 15, 2022 at 5:00 a.m. ET (tentative). The first four episodes of the show will be broadcast on the same day, and the remaining six episodes will be broadcast weekly. On August 17, 2022, Peacock released an official trailer for the show, offering a glimpse into the series’ beautiful, mysterious universe filled with interesting individuals.
The impressive video reveals some of the exciting events that will take place in the new season without revealing too many details that could ruin the viewing experience. Overall, the teaser develops a unique spooky tone that is sure to appeal to fans of the gothic horror genre. Along with the trailer, Peacock released the following synopsis of the series:
“In a world of glitz and glamor, two young girls’ relationship transcends their vast class differences as they prepare to graduate and join vampire society. Rosemary Hathaway as Sisi Stringer in Vampire Academy. Stringer gave a great performance in the teaser, exuding charm and confidence in his role. Viewers should expect a dismal performance from the actress. Stringer is best known for her work on Carnifex, Mortal Kombat and Bloody Hell, in addition to Vampire Academy.
Daniela Nieves, who plays Vasilisa Dragomir opposite Stringer in another pivotal role, looks equally stunning in the trailer. Danielle’s relationship with Stringer was important in setting the tone for the series. Nieves is best known for appearing on the Nickelodeon series Every Witch Way.
