Victoria and David Beckham Own Their Best Dressed Couple Status With Chic Date Night in N.Y.C.

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are one of pop culture’s best-dressed couples for a reason.

It comes on the heels Beckham debut of a chart-topping documentary on Netflix, as well as the release of David’s new eponymous fragrance collection, the former Spice Girl, 49, and the soccer icon, 48, hit the town for dinner in New York. And the duo’s chic looks for going out were not missing.

Being the trendsetter that she is, Victoria wore a crimson cap-sleeved dress with white lace detailing on the side and an asymmetric hemline that showed off her lipstick red open-toe heels and sheer leggings. The pop star seems to have taken a page out of her own book as the sleek design appears to be from her fashion line.

She accessorized with a large eggshell clutch bag and kept her waves loose.

David — who owns an extremely neat and organized wardrobe, as revealed in his documentary series — looked polished and sharp. He completed his dark blue striped suit with a white shirt and white sneakers.

The Beckhams proved they are the best dressed family in Hollywood at the premiere of David’s Netflix Doc

Last week, the couple and their family attended Beckham The London premiere in style.

The “Spice Up Your Life” singer wore a white suit in contrast to her mini-me Harper Seven Beckham, who stood out in a lilac floor-length dress paired with a matching handbag (apparently modeled after her mom’s iconic style).

David and his sons Brooklyn Peltz Beckham — accompanied by his wife Nicole Peltz Beckham — and Romeo Beckham — who posed next to his girlfriend Mia Regan — all offered a different take on the tailored suit. Meanwhile Cruz Beckham, the second youngest of the group, kept things cool in baggy button-up shorts and trousers.

While introducing his new fragrance range during a launch party at NYC hotspot Torrisi, David told guests he was “honored” to be working with Netflix and Beckham directed by Fisher Stevens.

He admitted that it took him a while to “come to terms” with filming and that it wasn’t until two or three years before the tenth anniversary of his retirement that he decided he felt ready to tell his story.

“It hasn’t been easy and it’s been an emotional rollercoaster over the last two and a half years, but I think we’ve produced something that my team can be very proud of,” said David.

Stevens recently told PEOPLE what it was like working with the famous soccer superstar and businessman. “He was not at all what I expected. He was so open. He says, ‘I’m ready. I want to tell my story before anyone else’, he shared. “And then I started doing research and I was like, ‘Jesus, this guy’s life is crazy. Nuts.’ I had no idea.”
