Vittal Bapurao Khotey or popularly known as Viju Khotey was born on Monday, December 17, 1941 in Rashtrapati Bhavan, Bombay, British India (he died at the age of 77). His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He attended St. Sebastian Gowan High School in Mumbai and later completed his graduation.

Before Viju started his acting career, his sister was a well-known actress. He has worked in Hindi and Marathi cinema. His first film was Ya Malak (1964), produced by his father. He acted in more than 300 Hindi and Marathi films, including Anokhi Raat (1968), Shareef Budmaash (1973), Sholay (1975), Andaz Apna Apna (1994), China Gate (1998), Golmaal 3 (2010), and Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge (2010).

He passed away at his residence in Mumbai at 6:55 am on September 30, 2019. He suffered from multiple organ failure and his last riot was in Mumbai’s Chandanwadi.his niece said at the time of his death
