Vikramjit Singh was born on Thursday, January 9, 2003, in Cheema Khurd, Punjab, India (age 20; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Capricorn. Singh’s grandfather, Khushi Cheema, fled anti-Sikh riots in the Indian state of Punjab in 1984 and sought asylum in the Netherlands. Khushi started his career as a taxi driver and later founded his own transport company in Amstelveen. Over the next few years, the family moved back and forth between the Netherlands and India until Vikramjit Singh chose to stay in the Netherlands permanently when he was seven years old.

Vikramjit Singh became the first Indian Sikh to represent the Netherlands in international cricket in October 2022. Singh set a new ODI personal best in the 2023 Cricket World Cup qualifiers in Harare, Zimbabwe, in July 2023. He scored 110 points against Oman, breaking the previous record of 88 points, and contributed to the team’s 74-point victory.

- When Vikramjit Singh’s family moved to the Netherlands in 1984, they faced many difficulties, including racial discrimination. Racism was common during this time, and they encountered problems because of their skin color, headscarves, and beards. Before moving back to India in 2000, Khushi Cheema transferred ownership of his transportation company to his son Harpreet. Vikramjit Singh revealed in an interview with the media in 2016 that his mother is Indian and his father is Dutch.
