The controversial flavor has been a fan favorite for years and many have left supermarket reviews sharing their love of the crisps.

One fan said: “This crunchy flavor takes me back to the 1960s.”

Another said: “I always come back to them.

A third customer said, “You can easily become addicted to them.”

Someone else said: “Lots of flavor – well done and crispy but not greasy.”

While another added: “Marmite has a divine crunchy taste.”

Many customers struggled to get their hands on the iconic flavor for years and it wasn’t long before fans began speculating that the chips could soon be discontinued.

One X formerly known as Twitter, the user asked: “Have Walkers stopped marmite crisps again?”

Walkers told the Sun that they were aware the taste was popular with fans, but hoped to pave the way for new flavours.

A Walkers spokesman told The Sun: “We are very sorry to disappoint fans of Walkers Marmite flavored crisps with this news.”

“We know many crunch lovers will hate to see the flavor of this Walkers go.”

“This change will allow us to focus our efforts on creating more crisp flavors that fans love the most.”

If you want to get your hands on this flavor, there are more.

A pack of six crisps is available from Tesco for £1.95.

Sainsbury’s has a multipack in stores for a little more at £2.20 or £1.65 if you have a Nectar card.

Keep in mind that Walkers has officially been discontinued, so chances are they won’t be on the shelves for long.

It’s been a rough ride for Walker’s fans as several other Crips flavors have been discontinued in the past few months.

In October, Walkers discontinued its hugely popular Worcester sauce flavour, with fans claiming “their sandwiches have been ruined”.

Fans also said goodbye to Max Fiercely Flamin Hot chips in November, as well as beef and onion flavors.

Last month Walkers discontinued Sensations Regal Lamb and Mint crisps.
