Erin Napier encounters an unwanted visitor while renovating her home on Sunday home town premiere.
In the exclusive clip above from Sunday’s new episode, Erin is removing the exterior shutter from the house she and husband Ben Napier are fixing up for a Canadian family moving to Laurel, Mississippi, when Erin is startled to discover a lizard.
“I hate lizards,” she declares. “I really didn’t expect to find anything. That was disturbing.” She goes on to say that she is “terrified of lizards,” adding, “I know it doesn’t make sense.”
“To me, lizards and snakes are exactly the same thing,” explains Erin, 38.
When Ben, 40, asked her what she thought of frogs, she replied that she didn’t like them either. “She thinks of frogs and lizards as snakes with legs,” says Ben.
“This is my irrational fear,” reveals Erin. “I get scared of lizards and someone thinks ‘Well, this is funny’ and they get a lizard and try to put it on me and then I’d die.”
