Jason Kelce is trading footballs for jewelry in a new campaign for Wawa that highlights his post-retirement life with wife Kylie Kelce.
In an exclusive video (above) shared with PEOPLE, the former Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, comes home with a stack of sandwiches from the Philly-based chain and drinks iced tea straight from the bottle as he races home.
Kylie, 32, who served as creative director and producer on set, instructs her husband: “More emotion, J., like you mean it!”
The couple’s store branding campaign, which officially launched on Friday, Aug. 23, aims to show how Wawa “has grown into a staple in their new routine,” according to a press release shared with PEOPLE.

The statement added that Kylie and Jason are longtime Wawa customers, and Kylie grew up at the chain. The mother of three, who shares daughters Wyatt Elizabeth, 4, Elliotte Ray, 3, and Bennett Llewellyn, 1, with Jason, drew on her knowledge of the brand’s offering and her experience as a mother to shape the ads.
“Directing these Wawa commercials with Jason is similar to how I manage every day with our family,” Kylie explained. “I’m trying to go with the plan, but there are distractions, so we’re taking it easy and doing our best.”

“Now that Jason’s out of football and our girls are back in school, our days at home look different than they did a year ago at this time,” she continued. “At the end of the day, Jason and I are a team trying to keep our household running smoothly in our chaos, just like many other families. But I usually wear a coach’s hat a lot of the time in our team, which helped me during this day on set!”
The couple married in 2018 at the Logan Hotel in Philadelphia, two months after Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LII.
Jason, who was selected by the team in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft, announced his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons in the league earlier this year.

The members of the Eagles have a new gig this fall, as news on ESPN Monday night countdown commentator.
“I’m mostly excited to see Jason excel in his new position,” Kylie told PEOPLE earlier this month. “I jokingly say that it pains me that he’s good at everything, and I know I’m biased, but I really believe that he’s good at everything, because even if he’s not good at the beginning or the best at the beginning, he’ll work, endlessly and tirelessly until he achieves it, so I have every confidence that he will tackle his new position with flying colours.”
