But tensions have already boiled over after trouble broke out today when the father of the WBC champion HEADBUT Stanislav Stepchuk – a member of the other fighting camp.
The shocking incident took place at the Hilton Hotel in Saudi Arabia while both fighters and their entourage were waiting for the media.
John seemed to be in good spirits in what appeared to be a happy atmosphere before things turned nasty.
The mood turned heated as John got into a heated argument with a large man in a flat cap, believed to be one of Usyk’s trainers.
They walked towards each other as chanting began around them.
Then, when John moved away from it, he turned to Stepchuk and headbutted him before turning away.
But it was John who left with a bloody forehead as he was caught on camera screaming: “We live for blood and guts.”
Both teams then continued to argue with each other as John shouted, “We cannot be defeated. We are Spartans. We are Spartans. We are Spartans.”

More footage later emerged of John shouting as he continued to shout aggressively in response to Team Usyk chanting their man’s name.
But then Usyk’s manager Alexander Krassyuk calmed him down and he could be heard replying: “No problem.”
John shook hands with Krassyuk and they hugged her.
He then appeared somewhat calmer as Usyk’s camp continued to chant at the end of the video.
While that ruckus was going on, Tyson was stuck in another room, but as soon as he came out, his team yelled.
Lowering his raised hands, he asked, “What happened to your head, you silly whore?”
Ukrainian boxer Sergey Lapin, a member of Usyk’s team, then shared another video of the fight on social media.
He added the headline: “It’s so significant how Usyk’s name unleashes Team Fury’s inner demons. And how the aggressor ends up hurting himself.
“Clear evidence of their true emotional state.”
Tyson suffered his own nasty cut above his right eye in sparring earlier this year, forcing the fight to be postponed from February 17th to this Saturday.
Fury has the WBC title around his waist, while Usyk holds the WBA, WBO, IBF and Ring magazine belts.
Both fighters are putting their undefeated professional records on the line in the Middle East as well.
