Wayne Shorter Passed Away At The Age Of 89

Wayne Shorter, the famous guitarist, died on March 2 at the age of 89. Although his cause of death has not been revealed, he was found dead in Los Angeles, California. His official Facebook page paid tribute to him by sharing a photo of him walking on the outdoor lawn. Reading texts:

“Wayne Shorter calmly continued his great journey at 4am this morning. He was surrounded by loved ones. “It’s time to get a fresh body and come back to complete the mission,” he said. Nam Myoho Renge Kyo is a Buddhist prayer.”

Musician Herbie Hancock also expressed sadness on Facebook, posting a black and white photo of him and Shorter having fun and discussing something. Hancock stated:

Antonio Sanchez, the drummer and songwriter, also shared a photo of himself standing with Shorter, adding that there will never be another like the late artist. He continued, “Sánchez has changed the way music is performed, imagined, written and perceived.
