Wendy’s Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers Are 1 Cent for Nearly a Week Starting on National Hamburger Day

National Burger Day at Wendy’s has been going on for almost a week.

From May 28 (a real food holiday) to June 2, the fast food chain shares Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers for 1 cent when customers make a purchase. The offer is available on the Wendy’s app, so fans must order online to receive the discount.

Wendy’s had a similar deal in September for another burger holiday: National Cheeseburger Day. Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers were also 1 cent back then.

Burger King is also celebrating National Burger Day with an offer on May 28. The Burger Spot rewards members with a free burger with a purchase of $0.70 or more. (Three sauces or some milk will get you to that minimum purchase!)

The offer does not stop only with burgers in BK, because the chain has seven days of offers in honor of its 70th anniversary. Every day brings a new freebie with a purchase of 70 cents from May 28 to June 3 on the BK application.

On May 29, customers can grab a free croissan’wich (Burger King’s breakfast croissant sandwich) if they spend at least $0.70, and Thursday, May 30 brings a free medium soft drink with any $0.70 purchase.

Wendy’s has free 6-pack chicken nuggets every Wednesday until the end of the year

To celebrate the weekend, BK guests who spend $0.70 can win a free cheeseburger on Friday, May 31st.

June 1st is Burger King’s official 70th birthday, so the brand is celebrating with its limited-time Birthday Pie Slice. Customers who spend $0.70 can win a free candy, which combines a birthday cake-flavored filling and a cookie crust.
