A day after their rumored romance made headlines, an insider told PEOPLE that it’s still “super, super early” for them to meet, but they’re “having fun.”

In the midst of their sizzling romance, PEOPLE recently spoke with celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas, who analyzed Swift and Kelce’s birth charts to predict their overall compatibility. First and foremost, he says it’s important to note that the Super Bowl champion was born about two months before the Grammy winner.

Swift is Sun in Sagittarius with Moon in Cancer, while Kelce is Sun in Libra with Moon in Sagittarius. “This means they will share many key astrological positions, particularly with the outer planets,” says Thomas — who is known for his cosmic guidance for celebrities, business executives and high-profile influencers.

“Considering romance and intimacy, intellectual relationship and communication, career and financial support, friendship, family union and true long-term synergy,” Thomas tells PEOPLE exclusively, he gives Swift and Kelce a “9 out of 10” when it comes to “their overall compatibility. ”

Thomas explains to PEOPLE the importance of birthdates, specifically noting the closeness of Swift’s and Kelce’s birth dates, Dec. 13, 1989, and Oct. 5, 1989, respectively. As a result, the pair share “a lot of key astrological positions.”

Both Swift and Kelce have Pluto in Scorpio, which Thomas says “brings them great passion and desire to transform.” He adds that they each possess a Capricorn stellium, which “helps them break down and rebuild the fundamental structures in their lives and in the world at large.”

Both have Jupiter in Cancer, which is “one of the luckiest placements for this planet,” according to Thomas, adding that it “gives them a ‘golden touch’ in everything they do, especially when they lead with their hearts.”

Finally, Thomas says that both Swift and Kelce have a North Node in Aquarius, which means “they carry a strong desire to step outside the box, connect with community and pursue their aspirations, as well as work for the greater good.”

Furthermore, Thomas says they both have South Nodes in Leo. This means they are both “naturally drawn to all things Leo rules,” citing “romance, passion, fun, art and sports” as examples.

Based on these placements, Thomas says the overall assessment reveals that both Swift and Kelce “have a karmic entanglement that makes them feel known to each other.” He adds: “They could easily be considered the ideal couple for their generation, somewhat the king and queen of an era.”

When it comes to Swift and Kelce’s romantic compatibility, Thomas says “this is a couple that has deep sparks!” In fact, he adds, they are “a perfect blend of romance, chemistry and attraction as they share one of the rarest planetary dances.”

Thomas says that Swift’s Mars (“the planet of sex and desire”) conjoined with Kelce’s Venus (“the planet of affection and romance”) are “exactly in the same place,” indicating that they “complement each other perfectly.” “There is a high romantic attraction and capacity for commitment and compromise,” he adds.

Plus, Thomas says there’s “tons of flirtation and charm between” their signs that can bring them “great joy” and a desire to “pounce.” However, he warns them to avoid “diving in too quickly as it could leave their relationship in a whirlwind”.

Thomas says Swift’s Sun is in a “close enough conjunction” to Kelce’s Moon, again revealing that it’s “one of the best synergistic aspects a couple can have” because it can create a friendship filled with “warmth, pleasant exchanges, and strong affinity.”

The Swift and Kelce signs have “so much alignment that favors active communication and a desire to learn from each other,” according to Thomas, who adds that the stars “can open each other’s minds” with their Mercury, Jupiter, and Mars interacting.

“This can be a lively and exciting relationship, but there could be times when tempers flare because they can both get fired up and they’ll have to balance that,” she continues. “At best, they can be mutually enriching, but real freedom and fairness will be paramount.”

Swift’s Mercury (“the planet of communication and the mind”) is conjunct Kelce’s Saturn, which Thomas says brings them “stability and balance.” Also in conjunction with Kelce’s Neptune, he adds that it brings them “encouragement and the ability to develop a telepathic relationship.”

However, Thomas notes that Kelce’s Uranus (“planet of revolution and chaos”) compared to Swift’s Moon (“ruler of her emotions and soul”) could express an “on-again-off-again” quality to their relationship if they are unaware of these ebbs and flows .”

Fortunately, Thomas says the couple “can still expand each other’s perspectives a lot.”

When it comes to Swift and Kelce’s careers and finances based on their signs, Thomas says “they immediately reinforce each other significantly.” He points out that each of their Jupiters is opposite the other’s Saturn, indicating “excellent long-term growth, as well as the ability to forge further wealth and fame as a power couple.”

He continues, “Stability is something the two of them could actively work towards, ultimately helping each other build the world.”

If you’re wondering why Swift and Kelce are paired at this point, Thomas once again points to astrology. He notes that Venus (“the planet of love and beauty”) spends “a lot of time in the zodiac sign of Leo in the summer and fall of 2023.”

In fact, Thomas says Venus went back and forth across their south nodes in Leo — which he says represents “karma, past lives, and what is easily attracted in life from previous lives and experiences.”

On that note, Thomas believes Swift and Kelce “have a past life connection.” However, he says that “they may not have initially realized this from their first interactions or moments of meeting.”

As Thomas shared his predictions with PEOPLE on Sept. 26, he noted that Venus is at 20 degrees Leo, which is directly between both of their South Nodes. “With Venus awakening their bond,” he says, “[Swift] now he has joined them.”

Thomas also mentions that another “powerful eclipse” is coming soon on October 14th. The upcoming solar eclipse falls in the middle of “eclipse season,” when “destined beginnings, turning points, new relationships, and karmic entanglements” occur.

“Whether they stay together for a long time or not — and I really think they have a lot going for them — this was meant to happen and will be a pivotal point in their lives,” Thomas concludes.
