In 2008, the twins starred in a documentary titled Bonded for life: Abby and Brittany turn 16. A few years later, the TLCs Abby and Brittany reality show lasted one season with eight episodes, showing the then 22-year-olds going to university, socializing, traveling and living life as conjoined twins.

“People have been curious about us since we were born, for obvious reasons,” the twins said in the show’s first episode in 2012. “But our parents never let us use that as an excuse. We were brought up to believe we could do anything we wanted.”

The twins added: “The most wonderful thing about us is that we are just like everyone else.”

Abby made headlines in 2024 when she announced that she had married Josh Bowling, a nurse and military veteran, three years earlier.

The twins have since been sharing moments from Abby’s wedding on social media, including a TikTok recap from 2024 with footage of Abby and Bowling’s first dance.

They also called out the “haters” in late March after receiving online attention about the event. “The internet is especially LOUD today,” Abby and Brittany shared in a TikTok video. Months later, they shared another post with the caption: “We know you think you know us.”
