A family friend of Hayden Klemenok’s, Jaime Jean Wilson, explained the circumstances under which Hayden Klemenok and his entire family were backpacking in Yosemite when the tragic accident occurred. He was last seen in Upper Chilnualn Falls. According to park officials, the hiking trail stretches for about 8 miles with an ascent of 2,300 feet northeast of Wawona. The missing man was last seen near the trail junction around 2 pm on Sunday, July 2, 2023 as he entered Chilnualna Creek. According to park officials, Hayden Klemenok was wearing a wide-brimmed hat, a red T-shirt over a blue bathing suit with white Adidas shoes and white sunglasses. Hayden Klemenok’s LinkedIn profile says he is from the Bay Area and a baseball player at Santa Rose Junior College. He currently lives in San Diego. Mary Kemenok, a family member of the missing person, took to social media, writing: “Please pray for Hayden and that he is safe.
