He founded the company with his brother Paul Gower and Constant Redder. He then founded another company, Fen Research. He and his brother Paul have been named among the UK’s richest businessmen. Biography of Andrew Gower
Andrew Gower was born in Nottingham, England on December 2, 1978. Andrew Christopher Gower is his full name. He received his primary education at Becket School, and completed his higher education at Fitzwilliam College in Cambridge. In 2000, he obtained a master’s degree in computer science.
Andrew Gower revealed in the Runescape documentary video that he had been interested in computer programming since he was seven years old. He enjoyed playing Pacman on his computer, which inspired him to create his own computer game, RuneScape.

Jagex released RuneScape 2 as a commercial version in 2004 and distributed it as RuneScape. Andrew continued to create new games with the help of his brother Paul. He was involved in the development of Dungeoneering from 2009 to 2010.
Andrew left the Jagex board in December 2010, despite being the primary architect and developer. His name was removed from the RuneScape title in November 2011. He also sold his shares in the company and no longer owned any shares in Jagex. Later that year, his name reappeared as Andrew G. in a RuneScape blurb.
