Andrew Spencer is the football coach of Bachelor in Paradise: get up close and personal with him.
Andrew spends most of his time commuting between Chicago and Austria. He spent half a year in Vienna, Austria, playing professional football and the other half in the Chicago area, working as a football coach and teacher’s assistant. Due to spending so much time in Europe over the years, he had a “work to live” mindset. The 27-year-old believes in lavish romantic gestures for his other half, such as traveling for hours to personally deliver lunch and fresh flowers. Bad communication is something he can’t stand in a relationship.
He also has a great sense of humour. One of his favorite party tricks is imitating accents from around the world. On the other hand, Andrew loves margarine and wants to enter margarine contests. After being single for so long, Andrew is ready to get married. He wants to have at least five children. In an interview with People, he discussed his experience on Bachelor in Paradise and how to find love. He declared:
“I don’t believe I expected anything to happen. But if someone else suffers, you suffer because you want to see the effort succeed.”
He also admitted:
“It’s very different from The Bachelor [and] Bachelor.”
The BiP participant also said that the season was a total hand wash for him and the other contestants. He also added that they have built a strong friendship after many months together as candidates on the show. He is also sad to see other contestants fail in love because they want others to fall in love with the right person.
