Biography of Aries Spears
Aries Spears was born in Chicago, the capital of the state of Illinois, but the family decided to move to New York a year after his birth. His mother, jazz singer Doris Spears, is the carrier of the family’s musical gene. When she was eleven, Aries Spears decided to move to New Jersey, where she enrolled at Arthur M. Judd Elementary School.
Three years later, at the age of 14, he discovered his comedic skills and began performing stand-up and comedy sketches. He even performed stand-up comedians in numerous comedy clubs in New York. However, things were not perfect for the young Aries Spears. He was kicked out of North Brunswick Township High School during his sophomore year for getting into a fight.
He was seventeen years old at the time. Soon after, Spears decided to practice his humor and held a performance of his own routine in his hometown. According to Spears, his initial stand-up performances were mainly performed at the Uptown Comedy Club in Harlem. He recalled playing James Brown and Jack Nicholson at the time.
