Aryna Sabalenka and Konstantin Koltsov, who were first linked in June 2021, share a love for sports.
Sabalenka is a Belarusian professional tennis player ranked 2nd in the world as of January 2024; Koltsov is a former ice hockey player who competed in two Olympic Games.
Sabalenka has been playing tennis since she was 6 years old. The athlete who appeared on Netflix Breakpoint tennis docuseries, won her first Grand Slam women’s singles title at the 2023 Australian Open.
“Congratulations again my love,” Koltsov wrote on Instagram after Sabalenka’s second straight win at the Australian Open in January 2024.

He is a former professional ice hockey player

Koltsov played professional ice hockey for 18 years, where he played at the IIHF World Championship and the 2002 and 2010 Winter Olympics for Belarus. He also played briefly in the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins for three seasons after being drafted by the team in 1999. Koltsov later played for the Kontinental Hockey League from 2008 to 2016.

Sabalenka and Koltsov became Instagram official in June 2021. On June 19, she shared a picture of Koltsov kissing her on the cheek while she smiles at the camera.
“It’s good when there is someone who can understand my madness😅”, the tennis player wrote in the description and added “but you won’t be bored with me, right @koltsov2021? 🤣❤️.”
He and Sabalenka like to travel together

In May 2022, Sabalenka and Koltsov traveled together in Rome, Italy. On Instagram, she posted several photos from the trip where the couple posed in front of the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain, as well as eating ice cream together.
The couple also visited Fort Lauderdale, Florida in July 2022. Sabalenka shared a photo of herself in a green bikini holding Koltsov’s hand while he wrapped his other arm around her waist. “Beach fun 🏝,” she wrote in their joint Instagram post.

Before Sabalenka was linked to Koltsova, she was engaged to someone else — although she kept the identity of her fiancé a secret. Tennis player confirmed the news of the engagement in November 2019, saying, “It’s just an engagement. I’m a little against the wedding, against it as an event.”
She also confirmed that her then-fiancé was not from Belarus and neither was her former coach Dmitry Tursunov, adding: “It’s not Tursunov (laughs). He’s not from Belarus.”
He is the father of three children

Koltsov reportedly has three children from a previous relationship: sons Daniel, Alexander and Stefan.
In December 2022, Sabalenka participated in a Q&A on her Instagram Story. When a fan asked her “Do you think you’d make a great stepmom?” she wrote: “I don’t know… I guess so” over a photo of a little boy kissing her face. She added: “Stefan loves me.”
Sabalenka also tagged Koltsova in the picture of Stefan kissing her.

In April 2023, Sabalenka tagged Koltsov in another picture of her and Stefan, which she posted on her Instagram Story. In the video, the boy is holding the tennis star’s hand in what appears to be a shopping mall. “Dinner was good,” Sabalenka wrote over the photo.

While Koltsov’s Instagram is private, the former hockey player appeared in many photos posted on Sabalenka’s account.
In September, Sabalenka shared a romantic gesture from Koltsov on Instagram. “My lucky one to have the best man in the world 🌎 @koltsov2021,” she wrote along with several photos of the bouquet delivered by Koltsov. “You make me happy every day! ❤️❤️❤️.”
She also posted a photo on Twitter in December 2022, the two shared an intimate embrace wearing the same white, writing: “Love is in the air.” Later that day, Sabalenka shared the same image on Instagram with the caption: “Too much ❤️ Sorry I reposted it.”
On April 17, 2023, Sabalenka marked Koltsov’s 42nd birthday by sharing a video slideshow on Instagram. The post contained clips and photos of her boyfriend, including shots of the couple on a boat and at the gym.
