Aubrey sang at venues in western Pennsylvania in November 2020, a year after the virus hit, when performing live became impossible. The singer said it was a difficult time for her and spending long hours at Target without being able to sing was mentally draining.

However, the AGT contestant has maintained her positive attitude as she continues to share videos of herself singing online and on social media channels. When she lost one of her close friends in 2021, she got the chance to perform on America’s Got Talent after some producers noticed one of her videos and invited her to audition.
