In February 2023, A boy meets the world star married Tessa Angermeier during a lavish wedding at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California. Angermeier called that special day “a party of love” on Instagram.
PEOPLE confirmed the couple’s engagement a month before their wedding and shortly after Savage posted a photo of Angermeier on Instagram with a diamond ring on her left finger.

She grew up in Indiana
Angermeier was born and raised in Owensville, Indiana. Since 2018, Savage has visited Angermeier’s hometown several times. In 2022, her parents opened the microbrewery KANT Brewing Co. in Fort Branch. Savage attended the ribbon cutting ceremony and was also featured in several photos on the company’s official Instagram account.
She graduated from Indiana University
Angermeier graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Arts Management in 2015. While on campus, she pledged Alpha Xi Delta.
She is a graphic designer

Savage has officially run for Congress! He announced his decision to run in January 2023. The actor, best known for his starring role in A boy meets the world and on the spinoff series, A girl meets the world, studied political science at Stanford University.
Speaking with Good morning America, he opened up about his political ambitions, saying: “I grew up in a household that was very passionate about politics; it was instilled in us as children from a young age.”
Angermeier seems to support his political venture. In 2022, she was by his side when he ran for West Hollywood City Council. Savage took to Instagram to share a photo of him and Angermeier along with several friends, all wearing T-shirts that read “Savage for West Hollywood” and wrote, “With a little help from my friends.”
