Chip Foose was born in Santa Barbara, California on October 13, 1963. Chip’s father, Sam Foose, worked for Project Design and was an avid car enthusiast. Terry Foose, his mother, was a simple housewife. He was fascinated by cars from the beginning.
Chip learned to draw from his father and at first tried to copy all of his father’s designs, which inspired him to create his own designs. Chip entered the Art College of Design to make his dream come true. However, due to financial constraints, he had to give up in the middle. So he got a job and started working, but it was his girlfriend, Lynn, who pushed him to finish college. So, after saving enough money, Chip went back to college and finished his degree.
Chip Foose is one of the luckiest people in the world because he married his longtime girlfriend and life partner. Lynn was always there for him and gave him good advice. Lynn and Chip started dating when Chip had nothing, not even enough money to put him through college. After a number of years of dating, Chip finally decided to put a ring on her finger and marry her. The couple has two children.
