Who Is Dean McDermott's Girlfriend? All About Lily Calo

Dean McDermott found love with his girlfriend Lily Calo after his split from Tori Spelling.

The Chopped Canada star was first spotted with Cal in October 2023. McDermott was previously married to Spelling for more than 15 years — the two married in 2006 and split in June 2023. Together they have five children: Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn and Beau.

Despite their split, McDermott remained on friendly terms with Spelling, who he said also got along well with Cal.

“I’m blessed, you know, that everybody is getting along and coming together for the greater good of the kids,” he said Page six in March 2024. “I’m just so blessed. It’s a beautiful thing.”

She is a Senior Account Manager at Conscious Community Global

According to her LinkedIn, which has been deactivated since photos of her and McDermott surfaced online, Calo is a senior account executive at Conscious Community Global, a health brand that focuses on creating a community that supports “people’s holistic healing journeys.”

The company hosts health-conscious activities like yoga, meditation, art therapy and gardening in an effort to “build a network of like-minded people,” according to their LinkedIn bio.

McDermott also appears to have collaborated with the brand, posing in a group photo on LinkedIn with Cal and other employees who are part of the “creative development team” in October 2023.

She lived in several countries

Calo grew up in New Jersey but moved to Austin, Texas, where she worked as a gallery director and co-founded Canvas. She later moved to California, where she started working at Conscious Community Global in September 2023.

“I was a shy kid from the East Coast with a modest goal to see the world and learn as many other cultures as possible,” she said in a 2021 interview. Daily mail.

“I knew one way I could do that was through art, but I felt I wasn’t an artist in the traditional sense,” she added. “Eventually I discovered that my art was within writing and that reading, ironically, brought me out of my shell.”

They were seen again just a few days later, kissing at Los Angeles International Airport while putting their luggage in the trunk of a van.

It has Spelling’s blessing

In April 2024, Spelling opened up about her relationship with Cal during an episode of her podcast, spelling mistake.

“I really like Lily. She’s not bad. You just know, she’s different,” said the mom of five.

She met McDermott’s children

Calo attended an event at Dave & Buster’s in LA where she spent time with Spelling and McDermott’s children in March 2024. Cameras caught Spelling hugging and kissing Calo, even wiping off some of the lipstick she left on her cheek, per Page six.

The two rode toy motorcycles together in the arcade while the children played. McDermott and Calo were later seen leaving the party about an hour after arriving.

McDermott credited her with helping him get sober

McDermott struggled with alcohol and drug abuse for three decades, he said Daily mail in November 2023 that his addiction contributed to the breakdown of his marriage.

“It ended up that I was drinking a fifth of tequila and a handful of narcotics every night, seven days a week. [narcotics] alone with, you know, a beautiful family in the other room,” he told the newspaper.

After living in a sober living facility, McDermott said Page six four months later, he is now clean and sober.

“I got to a place where I finally gave in and admitted that I needed help,” he said, sharing that he “went to treatment and put [his] the return of life together.”

He added that Calo played a major role in maintaining his sobriety by being his support system throughout the journey.

“She’s very supportive … we check in with each other every day and hold each other accountable,” McDermott said. “She’s a really big — big help to me.”

The Straight south The alum also praised his ex for her continued support.

“Tori has always been my biggest supporter, my biggest fan,” he told the newspaper. “She just wants me to be happy, bottom line, and she’s such an amazing woman.”

They officially announced their relationship on Instagram in May 2024

While on a date at The Magic Castle in Los Angeles, McDermott posted a photo with Calo for the first time on Instagram. The pair were dressed up for a night out, with McDermott wearing a black striped jacket and Calo wearing a color-coordinated black dress.

“Sometimes you just have to put on your best stuff and take your girl to the Magic Castle. Because she is magical!! 🎩#mylovey,” he wrote.
