Deborah Addicott, Vivek Ranadive’s wife, has been separated from him for 24 years. The couple has three children, two of whom followed in their father’s footsteps in finance and basketball. Addicott and Ranadive married in 1979 and were married for 20 years. One of the reasons for the divorce, according to their eldest son, was cultural differences.
Vivek Ranadive, an Indian-American businessman, stated that he has triumphed in many aspects of his life but has failed in his marriage. Deborah has a close relationship with her children, but has not been seen with her ex-husband since the divorce. Earlier this year, there was speculation that Ranadive would be one of the candidates for the Ottawa Senators NHL team. Nevertheless, Michael Andlauer eventually became the new owner of the hockey club.
Meet Deborah Addicott, wife of Vivek Ranadivé
Deborah Addicott, Vivek Ranadivé’s wife, is a former nurse who lived with her grandmother when she met the billionaire. Deborah owns Destiny Coyote Ranch, which her ex-boyfriend describes as “sweet and gentle.” The ranch was founded in 2017 and is located in the Aptos Valley. The former couple met on a blind date, and the connection was instant. Shortly after first meeting, the couple married in 1979. Vivek had been accepted to Harvard Business School, but deferred to earn enough money to go. The couple moved to Southern California before returning to Boston for Vivek to get his MBA. The couple traveled frequently between the East and West coasts. Finally, in 1983, they moved to California, to an apartment in Menlo Park.
The couple had three children and seemed to be enjoying the best of life. Deborah filed for divorce in 1999, ending their two-decade relationship. Vivek had earlier said that the divorce had caused him great pain. He believed he had done everything right and couldn’t figure out what had gone wrong in their marriage. Despite this, the couple has moved on with their lives and maintains a positive relationship with their children. Deborah can be found on Instagram as @destinyprayranch, but her caption is private.
Three children of Vivek Ranadivé and Deborah Addicott
Deborah Addicott has three children with her ex-partner, and her eldest son, Aneel, is known as the “Horse Whisperer”. Annel Ranadive, the couple’s first child, was born in 1984. Aneel was just an adolescent when his parents divorced, but he has a close relationship with both. He routinely posts photos of his mother on Instagram, and earlier this year he posted a picture with her in Golden Beach, Florida. Aneel is the Managing Partner of Soma Capital and holds a BA in Mathematics from Columbia University.
Aneel is listed on the Forbes Midas Seed List and his portfolio includes Rappi, Cruise, Lendup, Embarktrucks and Astranis. According to Crunchbase, Aneel’s portfolio has a total enterprise value of more than $6 billion. When asked about his parents’ divorce, Aneel had previously said that cultural differences could have been one of the key factors. He described his mother as a free spirit, while his father was the complete opposite, constantly focused on work.
Anjali Ranadivé is the manager of Stockton Kings
Anjali Ranadive, the youngest child of Deborah and Vivek, was born on September 15, 1992. Anjali previously worked in the music sector before joining her father in the basketball scene. Cal-Berkeley graduate Anjali previously collaborated with American rapper Tyga on a single. She performed under the stage name Anjali World. Her singing career, however, never took off. Anjali previously worked with the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Yggdrasil Wildlife Center. She also received the Paul Walker Ocean Leadership Award from the Monterey Bay Aquarium in 2015.
In 2022, the 30-year-old became the new assistant general manager of the G League club Stockton Kings. Vivek Ranadivé’s only daughter works for Stockton Kings general manager Paul Johnson. Anjali can be found on social media under the name “Nani”, which means “grandmother” in Hindi. Anjali took the stage name “Nani” as she always appreciated the presence of elders in her life. Andre Ranadive is Deborah and Vivek’s second son. Andre chose the US Army after being a member of the basketball team as a high school senior. Andre, unlike his two siblings, kept a quiet profile.
