Dorothy Tabuchi is the wife of Shoji Tabuchi, with whom he had a daughter. Tabuchi died suddenly on August 11, 2023. Shoji Tabuchi was a Japanese-American country music player and singer who performed at his theater in Branson, Missouri. In the mid-1960s, Tabuchi was a sophomore in college when he discovered that Roy Acuff was coming to Osaka, Japan.

Moving the show from the Shoji Tabuchi Theater to Oak Grove and giving audiences the same Branson experience is a production in itself.
