Emily’s sister was married to one of Magnya’s training partners and recommended that Emily meet the UFC fighter. Emily was scared at first because she didn’t want to meet a professional athlete. On the other hand, Neil quickly won her over. Although the UFC fighter was hesitant in their first meeting, Emily stated that he was incredibly kind and that she had never met anyone like him before.

Neil initially made the couple Instagram official in 2016, when he posted a photo of them during a mutual friend’s wedding. We met Emily for the second time in 2017 when the two of them went to see Neil’s doctor. Neil is a guy who normally posts videos of his training and fighting achievements. The UFC couple attended the Mission 1:11 Gala in March 2018. Emily, who previously went by the name @mrs.magny on Instagram, canceled her account.

Later in the video Garry picks up his child Leo and promises never to do that again. Many fans believe it was an overreaction to Magny’s remarks. Magny wanted to imply that he sees Garry as a kid who needs to be punished, which is exactly what he would do to him in the Octagon ring. Therefore, it does not appear that Magny’s actions are worrisome, but rather that his words have been misinterpreted.
