Who Is Evan Christina? Meet Cadillac Williams Wife: Married Life & Kids

Cadillac Williams, a former NFL player and coach, met his wife, Evan Christina Davis, at Auburn State University during their freshman year. Williams made a big move by proposing to Christina after nine incredible years together. This charming couple has been married for 12 years and are the proud parents of two amazing children, Cole and Cuinn. Carnell Lamar Williams, alias Cadillac Williams, was born on April 21, 1982 in Gadsden, Alabama.

Furthermore, Williams graduated from Etowah High School in Attalla, Alabama. William majored in sociology and played football at Auburn State University. He was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2005 NFL Draft. That same year, he was named the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. In 2007, he tore two patellar tendons, which required surgery and extensive rehabilitation. Williams later became an unrestricted free agent and signed as a backup for the St. Louis Rams. In the end, he decided to leave football and devote himself to a coaching career.

During their freshman year at Auburn State University, Carnell Williams met the love of his life, Evan Christina Davis. Williams proposed to Christina after nine years of happy marriage on a romantic New Year’s cruise in sunny Florida. The couple was married on July 2, 2011 in the lovely town of Decatur, Georgia. Furthermore, the wedding took place in the morning at the beautiful church on the campus of Agnes Scott College.

Evan Christina states,

“Carnell and I are college sweethearts, so we were supposed to get married on a college campus.”

The couple are now happily married and have two great sons, Cole and Cuinn. At the same time, Evan Christina enjoys posting photos of her adorable family on her public Instagram. Williams’ Twitter account is filled with photos of his beautiful wife and charming children. Christina blossomed as an outstanding educational administrator.

Cadillac steps down as Auburn coach

Following his coaching career, Williams accepted an offensive graduate assistant position at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia in 2016. He then became the running backs coach for the newly formed IMG White IMG Academy football team in Bradenton, Florida. In 2018, he became the running backs coach for the Birmingham Iron in the American Football Association. In January 2019, head coach Gus Malzahn named Williams Auburn’s running backs coach.

After his outstanding statistics, new head coach Bryan Harsin retained Williams as running backs coach. On October 31, 2022, Auburn fired Bryan Harsin and named Williams interim head coach. Furthermore, he beat Texas A&M 13–10 in his head coaching debut on November 12, 2022. Williams finished the 2022 regular season as interim head coach with a 2–2 record.

When Hugh Freeze was named permanent head coach on November 28, he retained him as an assistant. Ultimately, on January 11, 2024, William made the bold decision to resign from Auburn, citing family as the reason.
