Korn decided to sign Limp Bizkit to his label as a result.
Wes Borland left Limp Bizkit and DJ Lethal joined. They signed a new record deal in 1997 and released their first album, “Three Dollar Bill, Y’all.” Despite the album’s failure, Durst became senior vice president of A&R at Interscope Records.
