Hailie Jade Scott and Evan McClintock are going to be parents!
Rapper Eminem’s daughter, 28, announced that she and husband Evan McClintock are expecting their first child in her dad’s music video for “Temporary,” which was released in October 2024. Scott and McClintock married in May 2024, more than a year after he popped the question in February 2023.
Despite growing up in the spotlight, Scott kept her relationship with McClintock pretty private online.

After graduation, McClintock landed a job at software development company Scout, which “provides an investigative solution through technology to some of the largest high-end luxury brands, multinational car manufacturers, government bodies, anti-counterfeiting groups, brand protection, leading insurance providers and multinational pharmaceutical organizations,” according to the company’s LinkedIn. He has been with the company since 2018, where he currently works as the Executive Director of Business Growth.

After meeting at Michigan State University, the couple has been dating since 2016. While Scott’s Instagram account consists mostly of her solo photos, her husband has made a few appearances. On Christmas (also her birthday) 2019, she posted two pictures of herself and McClintock during her ’70s-themed disco party. She’s also posted it on other special occasions — including her 21st birthday, St. Patrick’s Day 2017 and Halloween 2018.

McClintock seems to have the approval of Scott’s famous father (whose real name is Marshall Mathers). In an interview on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson in March 2020, Eminem briefly mentioned his daughter’s then-boyfriend.
“No babies,” the rapper replied when Tyson asked if Hailie had any children of her own. “Just a boy. She’s doing well,” he said, adding that she “definitely made me proud.”
After Scott posted a photo with McClintock in July 2021, Eminem’s younger brother Nathan Kane Mathers also expressed his support for the couple, writing, “My Homie Evan 🔥.”

On May 20, Scott shared a series of photos from her wedding on Instagram, revealing that she was “being a woman this week.” In the pictures, she and McClintock posed in their wedding attire, with Scott wearing a long white dress.

The video focuses on Eminem’s relationship with Scott growing up, including footage from her childhood. At the end, she is seen giving her dad a blue soccer jersey that says “Grandpa” and a sonogram to tell him the exciting news.
