Snack vs. Chef, a new culinary program from Netflix, will feature outstanding chefs competing to create some unusual and famous treats. Hari Cameron, a well-known chef from Delaware, is one of the contenders. He was a finalist for the James Beard Foundation’s “Rising Star Chef” award in 2013 and a three-time semifinalist for the coveted honor. Despite having dyslexia as a child, Hari went on to become one of Sussex County’s most inventive chefs. Meanwhile, he will participate in Snack vs. Chef season 1 against 11 other contestants. The official summary for the Netflix program is as follows:
“This new culinary tournament, hosted by comedians Megan Stalter and Hari Kondabolu, pits 12 cooks against one other in the ultimate snack battle.” They will be challenged not just to duplicate some of the world’s most famous snacks, but also to design their own unique treats inspired by renowned classics. Only one will win the $50,000 grand prize.”

In an interview, chef Hari Cameron said that he liked cooking with his small son, Max.
He stated:
“My kid, Max, is four and a half years old. Cooking with him not only enables us to spend time together but also teaches him skills that he will use for the rest of his life.”
According to the interview, Hari “struggled with dyslexia and ADD” as a youngster, and working in kitchens kept him grounded and disciplined. Prior to getting a degree and training from The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia, he worked at a number of Delaware coastal eateries. After receiving his degree, he worked as a chef at Nage (now known as Fork + Flask). He then started his own restaurant, a(MUSE), in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, in 2012.
Hari sold his eatery in 2020, according to a story on Delaware online. He subsequently created his own consulting business and began working as the Chef of Arcobaleno Pasta LLC. In addition, he and his brother Orion opened a “pasta-focused Grandpa (MAC)” restaurant in 2015. Hari has received various honors, including the James Beard Award for “Rising Star Chef” and the StarChefs Rising Stars Award (2018). According to his Facebook profile, he attended Sussex Central Senior High School. He has been married to Stephanie since 2010, and the couple has three children.

When does Snack vs. Chef debut on Netflix?
Season 1 of Snack vs. Chef will launch on Netflix on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 3:00 a.m. ET. It is unknown if all of the episodes will be published at the same time. Luna Contreras, Clara Park, Christian Gill, Danny Kievit, Lauryn Bodden, Sandy Dee Hall, Scottish Francis, Ali Manning, Lauren Jude, Kristopher Edelen, and Kevin Gregory are among the last 11 candidates.
They will demonstrate their snacking abilities in front of the judges, Chef Helen Park, and culinary scientist Ali Bouzari. Megan Stalter and Hari Kondabolu will co-host the event and serve on the judges’ panel throughout the elimination rounds. Snack vs. Chef will be available on Netflix on November 30, 2022.
