Dance 100 contestant Janick Arseneau started performing at the age of three.
Janick Arseneau, one of eight contestants slated to compete in Dance 100, previously appeared on So You Think You Can Dance Canada Season 3 in 2010. She placed fourth and received $5,000. The Dance 100 contestant is from Bathurst and started performing at the age of 3 when she began teaching formally until the age of 18. According to Arseneau’s website, ballet has always been a part of her life and has helped her through some difficult times.

“I have always wanted to be a skilled performer. When I was young, one of my biggest dreams was to be a part of So You Think You Can Dance Canada. I know my chances of success are limited because I come from a small community.”
Janick is aware that she needs to take “big steps” and stays focused on her goals. She moved to Montreal after graduating from high school, leaving friends and family behind to pursue a career as a professional performer. Dance 100 performer who previously appeared as a dancer in the video game The Michael Jackson: The Experience and as an aide on Michael Jackson’s Immortal Tour with Cirque du Soleil, both are directed by NappyTabs. She has previously starred in the films Mirror Mirror and Make Your Move 3D by Julia Roberts. Janick later appeared in Season 7 of America’s Best Dance Crew and was one of the performers in Step Up 5: All In.

“I live in Los Angeles now and I have achieved my biggest goal. As my first production in the United States, I will be performing with Jennifer Lopez on her three-year engagement show at Axis Hall at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.”
She has performed with CeeLo Green, Def Leppard, Melissa Etheridge, Kelly Clarkson, Marie-Mai and others.
The Dance 100 contestant starred in Jennifer Lopez’s Ain’t Your Mama, Dinero, El Anillo and Limitless, as did Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson at the MTV Movie Awards, Hailee Steinfeld at the RDMAs and Rihanna at the VMAs.
