Who Is Juwan Johnson’s Wife? All About Chanen Johnson

Juwan Johnson is married to his wife Chanen Johnson since 2020.

The New Orleans Saints star began his career as a tight end playing college football for the Oregon Ducks and Penn State Nittany Lions, where he met his future wife.

The couple was 20 when they first met at Penn State, where Chanen studied communication arts and sciences and Juwan studied telecommunications. They dated for two and a half years before walking down the aisle. Fast forward to 2023, Juwan and Chanen had a child together, daughter J’adore Blessing Johnson.

The couple often documents their life together on social media via TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. In a special Instagram video, Juwan marked their 2020 wedding with a heartfelt greeting to Chanen.

“We are like puzzle pieces. Never the same, but we happen to match,” Juwan wrote in the caption. “I knew 2 and a half years ago that you would end up being my wife.”

She met Juwan in college

Chanen was born on March 14, 1996 in Pomona, California to parents Joe and Sheryl Raygoza. She was moving across the country to attend Penn State University in Pennsylvania.

Chanen met Juwan while they were both students at Penn State — he played varsity football for three years before transferring to the University of Oregon for his senior year.

She was a gymnast

Chanen was a gymnast when she was younger. According to the Penn State Athletics website, she began gymnastics in high school and was a member of the Junior Olympic team, a VISA US National qualifier and a Junior International Elite gymnast.

Chanen continued to practice gymnastics during her time at Penn State and appeared on the track and field team’s YouTube channel in a 2014 video, around the time she first met Juwan.

She married Juwan in February 2020

Juwan and Chanen got married on February 15, 2020, after almost three years of dating. The newlyweds celebrated their wedding on Instagram, and the bride posted their Instagram picture. “Officially the luckiest girl in the world!! So happy to call you my husband,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Juwan shared a video montage of them getting their marriage license and starting the wedding ceremony process.

“I want to take every bump, every challenge and every turning point with you. Thank you God I can call you Mrs. Johnson,” he wrote in part.

She has a daughter with him

Chanen and Juwan welcomed their daughter, J’adore Blessing Johnson, on July 8, 2023.

A few days later, the NFL player announced the birth on Instagram with a picture of Chanen holding her in the hospital. “Welcome to this world princess! Dad will always be there for you and mom,” he wrote alongside her.

In late 2022, the couple said Chanen had two miscarriages that year. A month later, at the beginning of the new year, the couple announced that they were expecting a child.

“You are our dream come true,” was the message for their joint Instagram video.

She attends Juwan’s games

Chanen often attends her husband’s soccer matches, and often brings their daughter with her. In September 2023, Juwan posed with his wife and daughter from the side. “Baby’s first game,” Chanen captioned her Instagram post.

The following month, she shared another game photo of herself holding their daughter and captioned it: “Looking for daddy.”

Before J’adora was born, Chanen also attended many of Juwan’s games. In September 2022, she posted a video in which her husband approached her from the side to kiss her.

He shares a TikTok account with his wife and they have over 3 million followers. They often post videos on their account about parenting, family life and Juwan’s career.

The couple also has a YouTube account. They have over 65,000 subscribers and post videos of their life and home, including videos of their wedding and fertility journey.

He bought her a house after she gave birth

Chanen said Juwan bought her a house on TikTok in April 2023 as his “gift” while she was pregnant with their daughter J’adore.

“POV: Your husband bought you a house as a gift,” she wrote. “I know what my services are worth.”

She got a tattoo with him

In April 2021, Juwan and Chanen announced that they had gotten a tattoo together and documented it on their YouTube channel.

The matching tattoo is their wedding date in Roman numerals. She also got a second tattoo for her husband – his first initial on the side of her neck.
