One of the many hard-working contestants, Karla Cruz Godoy, claims that trying to survive in real life prepared her for the show. Karla said in the CBS video:

“Growing up in poverty, you had to learn to support yourself and steal to survive. Just being able to look someone in the eye and lie to them.”

Karla Cruz Godoy was a contestant on Survivor 43.

Karla Cruz Godoy, 28, is an educational project manager in San Diego. Karla has to work hard all her life because of her low-income family. She made everything she owned and is a firm believer in changing things up if you don’t like them. Karla succeeded by changing the environment. But that’s not always the case with San Diegans. Karla’s parents are immigrants with only a high school education. This encouraged Karla to apply for various scholarships, which enabled her to continue her education. Karla told Parade about her childhood in an interview:

“I understand what it feels like to be miserable. I understand what it’s like to be hungry. I know what it’s like to hang out with someone, whether you’re cheating on them or making fun of them, because that’s life. life that I must live.” since I was a kid. And I can easily change the code. Coming from San Diego teaches you to be tough. You learn to defend and advocate for yourself.”

Karla looks like a girl who will do anything to get everything she wants. In an interview with Parade.com, her wishes were clear. When asked why she wanted to join Survivor, she only replied that she was tired of watching it on TV. She continued:

“I am here on Survivor to win, obviously. But I’m sick of watching Survivor on television. Honestly, I’m sick of repeating, “Here’s what I would do differently. What if that person did something like that? I hope I can attend.” And I’ve always been a risk taker. If that’s what you want to do, go ahead and do it. So I jumped in and said, “Let me apply.” And I succeeded.”

Karla Cruz Godoy will compete in the Coco tribe (blue), along with Baka (yellow) and Vesi (red).
