Case was the starting quarterback for the Wylie High School juniors at the time, eventually leading them to their first state title. Similarly, Kimberly, a senior, competed for a rival school in volleyball and pole vault. Kimberly, interestingly enough, was in the Sunday school taught by Keenum’s mother. Their similar group of acquaintances helped their first meeting, building a friendship that lasted even as Case went on to play football at the University of Houston.
Kimberly has been Case’s rock through his ups and downs, especially when he faced adversity like injuring his ACL during his redshirt senior year in 2010. She was instrumental in his recovery, providing unwavering support during difficult times. Their love story took a new turn in 2011 when they got married while both were students at the University of Houston. Case’s passionate, candlelit proposal on the 50-yard line of the football field laid the foundation for their future together. Reflecting on their journey together, Case once told the Los Angeles Times of Kimberly’s enthusiasm for wearing a jersey with the name ‘Keenum’ on the back: “She’s pretty excited about it.”

Parenting and family life
Case Keenum and Kimberly Caddell have cherished every aspect of their journey together since their wedding in 2011. Their excitement tripled when their son Kyler was born in November 2019. This beautiful addition to their family arrived after they announced their pregnancy in May 2019, coinciding with Case’s trade from the Denver Broncos to the Washington Redskins.
