Liev Schreiber and his wife Taylor Neisen are caring parents of a blended family.

The Ray Donovan the actor and Neisen welcomed their first child (Schreiber’s third) on August 27, 2023. Hazel Bee joins Sasha and Kai, who Schreiber shares with his ex-girlfriend Naomi Watts.

In June 2022, Watts, who is now married to Billy Crudup, called them a “modern family” on Instagram. Schreiber and Neisen, who have been dating since 2017, quietly tied the knot in July 2023.

So who is Liev Schreiber’s wife? Here’s everything you need to know about Taylor Neisen and her relationship with the actor.

She is a former pageant queen

Neisen was crowned Miss South Dakota in 2012, and then represented her state in the Miss USA pageant that year.

In an interview on the Miss USA YouTube channel, Neisen revealed that if she could choose one thing to excel at, she would like to be a better singer, noting that she is “terrible” at it.

“You don’t want to hear me sing,” she laughed.

While Neisen competed in the pageant, the 2012 crown eventually went to model Olivia Culpo, who went on to win Miss Universe.

It rehabilitates wild animals

Neisen is an avid animal lover and even rescued a baby raccoon in 2022. She has shared several photos of animals on Instagram, including one of her cuddling with a raccoon close to her chest.

“I miss them so much. Rehabbing these babies is so bittersweet. When they are strong enough to be released, I feel incredibly proud and happy, but also selfishly sad to say goodbye,” she captioned the post.

“I put motion sensor cameras outside because I’m a helicopter mom and seeing the footage makes me sick inside,” she continued. “They made friends with a fox, a mangy cat, a very fat raccoon and are still hanging out with their opossum siblings. 🥹”

Schreiber teased her about her penchant for the wild, writing in a birthday Instagram post, “Happy birthday Taytay!!! All creatures are so happy you were born today! Most of all me.”

A playful caption accompanied a photo of a cake printed with Neisen holding a raccoon.

He gets along well with Schreiber’s ex, Naomi Watts

Schreiber and Watts are parents to two children, Kai and Sasha. Despite no longer being together, Schreiber and Watts are committed to remaining friends and co-parenting their children, which includes getting along with their partners.

In June 2022, Watts shared a photo of herself and Schreiber posing with Neisen, Crudup and their children in honor of Kai’s graduation.

“Congratulations to Kai ⚡️🎉Class of 2022 #modernfamily ❤️ #graduation,” she wrote in the caption.

“It’s important to support each other,” Schreiber said of co-parenting with Watts Sunday Today with Willie Geist In 2018, he recalled a time when he “made jokes” about Watts at breakfast with his kids and noted that Kai and Sasha’s “eyes light up when I talk about her.”

“You see how important it is to them that their parents take care of each other,” he explained.

Watts also seems to have a good relationship with Neisen. In December 2022, she commented on Schreiber’s birthday post for Neisen, writing, “Happy birthday Tay!! 🙌🙌😍😍”.

She loves the ocean — and wants to protect it

Neisen likes to spend time near the water. She and Schreiber are often photographed at the beach and have also been seen surfing together.

In addition to posting photos of her beach trips on Instagram, Neisen has used her platform to raise awareness about a cause she cares about: ocean pollution.

In June 2022, she celebrated World Oceans Day with a post showing a collection of trash she collected while walking on the beach.

“Happy #worldoceansday from my walk on the beach at sunset,” she captioned the photo, noting that “eight million tons of plastic” end up in the ocean every year. “It is estimated that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the oceans than fish.”

She continued: “With so many tragedies and hardships in the world right now, worrying about the ocean or what might happen to it in 30 years might be at the bottom of your list of concerns. But the ocean is the heart of our planet and we cannot survive without it. ”

Neisen ended her post by encouraging her followers to check out Surfrider, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the oceans.

Together, she and Schreiber champion several causes

Together, Schreiber and Neisen support several causes, including the Ali Forney Center, a non-profit organization supporting homeless LGBTQ+ youth.

The couple attended the center’s annual gala together in May 2022. Neisen shared a photo of her and Schreiber at the event, in which Schreiber is holding a rainbow glow stick. “A New York moment celebrating the important work of @aliforneycenter,” she captioned the post. They stepped out again at the organization’s 2023 event in May, an occasion Neisen marked by sharing a selfie of the pair on Instagram.

Neisen also joined Schreiber in supporting Ukraine. The actor, whose family hails from the country, has been outspoken about his support for Ukraine amid its war with Russia. In addition to providing humanitarian aid through his organization BlueCheck Ukraine, Schreiber has visited Ukraine several times since the beginning of the conflict and met with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

In May 2022, Schreiber hosted a Unite for Ukraine fundraiser in Washington DC, and Neisen was with him at the event. She posted a photo from a dinner with Oksana Markarova, Ukraine’s ambassador to the US, and invited her followers to donate to BlueCheck. “Truly a wonderful evening at the United States Institute of Peace for Ukraine,” she captioned the post.

She and Schreiber welcomed their first child together in August 2023

Neisen gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Hazel Bee, on August 27, 2023. Schreiber announced the baby’s arrival on Instagram, calling Hazel “a dream.”

“Mom and baby are super happy and healthy. Thank you all for your love and support,” he wrote. In the comments, the actor’s ex, Naomi Watts, said: “We love baby Hazel!!”

Before welcoming her baby girl, Neisen stepped out with her bump in full on multiple occasions. In June 2023, she was spotted walking in New York. A few days earlier, Neisen was seen on another walk with Schreiber. The actor held Neisen’s hand as they walked around town. The following month, Neisen and Schreiber were seen spending time together in the Hamptons.

She supports Schreiber’s career

Neisen does not miss an opportunity to support her husband.

In June 2023, she — along with Sasha — attended a special screening of Schreiber’s limited series A little light.

The following year, Neisen and Kai supported Schreiber in the Broadway premiere of his play, Doubt: a parablein New York. She was also present at the New York premiere of her husband’s film Across the river and into the trees in August 2024.
