According to the official synopsis of the show:

“SELENA + CHEF is back! This time, Selena goes to the beach with her friends and family for some summer fun. Season 4 takes place in a stunning Malibu beach house, where Selena will continue to learn the joys of cooking from celebrity chefs.”

Chef Ludovic Lefebvre from Selena has 12 years of experience.

Ludovic Lefebvre, a world-renowned chef, spent 12 years in France studying with masters of French cuisine such as Alain Passard, Pierre Gagnaire, Marc Meneau and Guy Martin. After studying in France, Lefebvre began working in fine restaurants such as L’Orangerie and, eventually, Bastide. He came up with his own recipes, such as Poularde marinated in Pepsi-Cola with popcorn and Panna Cotta with caviar in salted butter caramel sauce. In fact, he received the prestigious Mobil Travel Guide Five Star Award in 1999, 2000 and 2006 at the two restaurants he worked at.

Shortly thereafter, while the Bastide restaurant was closed for renovations, he devised a unique dining experience known as LudoBites, which was eventually called a “transformational moment” in the Los Angeles culinary scene by Pulitzer Prize-winning LA Weekly reviewer Jonathan Gold. Furthermore, the featured star of Selena + Chef introduced the concept of ‘fried chicken’ to the streets of Los Angeles in 2010 by creating her own food truck, the LudoTruck.

After that, Ludo founded Trois Mec, a casual fine dining restaurant, and Petit Trois, which was nominated by James Beard in 2014. Additionally, in October 2015, he debuted Trois Familia, his first snack-only concept in Silverlake, CA.

Relais & Chateaux named Lefebvre one of the “World’s 50 Greatest Chefs,” and he was nominated for a James Beard Award for “Rising Culinary Star,” “Best Chef of the West,” and “Best Culinary Program” for presenting Mind of Chef. Ludo Lefebvre has also published two volumes, LudoBites: Recipes and Stories from Ludo Lefebvre’s Pop-Up Restaurants and Crave: The Feast of the Five Senses, and was on three seasons of the popular ABC cooking competition The Taste.
