Juanita and Colby Carter gave birth to Lynda Carter in 1951. Her birthplace was Phoenix, Arizona. The father of this actress is of English and Scotch-Irish origin, and the mother is of Spanish, Mexican and French origin. At the age of five, she made her debut on public television in Lew King’s Talent Show. While in high school, the singer was a member of the band Just Us, which included a conga drum, acoustic guitar, marimba and stand-up bass played by another woman.
