Biography of Macy Gray
Macy Gray was born in Canton, Ohio on September 6, 1967. When she was a baby, her father abandoned the family. She was raised by her stepfather, a steel worker, and her mother, a mathematics teacher.
She started learning the piano when she was seven years old. She attended a number of institutions, including Canton South High School, from which she graduated in 1985. Because of her actions, she was temporarily expelled from the boarding school. After that, she went to study screenwriting at the University of Southern California.
