Who Is Madelaine Petsch's Boyfriend? All About Anthony Li

Madelaine Petsch and her boyfriend Anthony Li were friends for nine years before they started dating.

The two were first photographed together walking the Valentina fashion show in Paris in 2022. Petsch officially confirmed their relationship in August 2023 on her Instagram Stories, revealing that they had known each other for many years.

“It’s been a lovely 9 years knowing you,” she wrote. “But another lovely 1 year of seeing you.”

While Petsch and Li kept their relationship mostly private, Riverdale the actress shows her admiration for her partner from time to time on social networks. To mark 10 years of friendship, Petsch posted a series of pictures and videos with Li in February 2024.

One image included a screenshot of their text messages, with Petsch asking Li: “How do I say I’m celebrating 10 years of knowing you today without confusing the internet.” He wrote: “Say ‘finally get this one out of the friendzone and I’ve never been happier!!!!’ ” teasing their longtime friendship.

During the 2022 Valentine’s Day Fashion Show in Paris, Petsch was spotted walking to the event with Li. In an Instagram post in November, Petsch shared a series of photos dating back to their first public date. One of the photos in the series was a picture of her and Li geotagged with Paris.

Since then, Petsch’s relationship with Li has been teased on various social platforms. Petsch and her Riverdale Costar Camila Mendes posted a TikTok in January 2023 with the caption: “When you realize your boyfriends are becoming BFFs.”

A TikTok video showed a video of Petsch and Mendes enjoying a meal while their boyfriends talk about Batman.

Madelaine has known Anthony for over 10 years

Although it is not clear how Petsch and Li met, they have known each other for at least 10 years.

Petsch shared a carousel of pictures and images of the happy couple on Instagram in February 2024. In the final slide, Petsch shared an image of a handwritten piece of paper that read, “This is the best time of my life,” adorned with two human figurines and a small dog.

Li is no stranger to the entertainment industry. He became one of Halsey’s managers alongside Jason Aron in 2014.

He grew up on Long Island and Halsey, New Jersey, and the two met on the New York music scene. After meeting Li, Halsey asked him if he could pretend to be her manager at record company meetings – a fiction that quickly became their reality.

Halsey is incredibly grateful for the “support” that Li and Jason have given her.

“All I know is that I met two guys who within 48 hours of meeting me decided they had enough faith in me to put all their time, energy and finances on the line to support something they thought would to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others,” Halsey said Forbes in an interview from 2017 – They had more faith in me than I had in myself.

He was on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list

In 2017, Li and Aron were featured on Forbes 30 Under 30 playlist for music. Their recognition came because they were Halsey’s managers from the beginning of her career.

Li initially recruited Aaron to work with them on Halsey’s 2015 debut, “Badlands,” which sold more than a million copies. During her early years as an artist, Halsey would often sleep on Lee’s couch when necessary. She ended up signing a deal with Capital Records that changed their lives.

“I owed them so much money when I signed,” said Halsey of the duo. “To be able to turn that investment into a lucrative business and passionate lifestyle for all three…there’s no better reward than that.”

In 2015, Halsey sold out Madison Square Garden, and Li said the secret to her success was the “unconventional way” she approached her career.

“My generation is obsessed with influencers, tastemakers,” he said Forbes. “But I think that’s the wrong focus. The innovators of my generation will be the ones who will be remembered. People who did it in an unconventional way.”

Anthony planned a special event for Madelaine’s 29th birthday

Petsch revealed on her TikTok that Li planned a special activity to celebrate her 29th birthday. As a self-proclaimed CBS fan Amazing raceLi took matters into his own hands to ensure Petsch experienced his own version of the competition show.

“My boyfriend organized an Amazing Race scavenger hunt with all of our best friends on the streets of Hollywood,” she said in a TikTok video that features clips of Petsch and her friends competing in a series of reality TV-like challenges.

In addition to executive producing several of Halsey’s projects, Li also served as an associate producer on a short film.

He is credited as an associate producer on the 2023 short film Eid Mubarak which was directed by Mahnoor Euceph. The short follows the story of a young Pakistani girl who wants to save her goat from being eaten.

He likes travel

Lee’s personal Instagram account consists of beautiful shots from his frequent travels.

On August 31, 2021, Li posted a series of images geotagged in Turks and Caicos. He titled the post “album dump pt. 1,” seemingly in line with Halsey’s release of her fourth studio album on August 27, 2021. If I can’t have love, I want power.
