Madonna goes strong with Josh Popper.
Popper, a boxing trainer who briefly appeared in a reality show Summer houseshe met the pop icon after he trained her son David Banda at his boxing gym in New York.
Madonna first appeared on Popper’s Instagram in February 2023. Then, in December 2023, Popper joined the “Vogue” singer on stage during her Celebration Tour stop in Brooklyn. The couple kissed in front of more than 14,000 people.

Popper was born in New Jersey on September 23, 1993 to the late Michael Popper and Vanita Allen. He grew up in Egg Harbor Township, South Jersey and graduated from Holy Spirit High School in Absecon, New Jersey in 2011.
According to his Instagram, he has lived in New York since at least 2019.
He is a boxing coach

Popper owns Bredwinners — a boxing gym in NYC. According to the gym’s website, Popper is a “lifelong athlete and full-time trainer” who “believes that the best kind of exercise isn’t the kind that just gets the job done, but the one that helps you show up, get in the zone, and level up.”
The New Jersey native was crowned the 2023 NYC Ring Masters Heavyweight Champion at Madison Square Garden in April.
Apart from boxing, Popper is represented by the modeling agency Soul Artist MGMT.
He and Madonna officially announced their relationship on Instagram in February 2023

After winning a boxing match at Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn, Popper first posted photos of himself and Madonna on February 12, 2023.
“Another W for the books‼️,” he captioned the photos on Instagram. “I want to thank my coaches, my team and my Bredwinners family for pushing me to be the best in and out of the ring. I have some good people with me 🙌🏽.”
He appeared on reality TV
Although his reality TV career didn’t last long, Popper did make an appearance Summer house.
During season 7, Summer house star Samantha Feher went to Popper’s gym for a workout. She then invited him to hang out at the Hamptons’ shared house, but after joining the crew at the bar, Feher eventually concluded that there was nothing romantic going on between them.
“I’m looking for a guy to jump on the counter and dance with me, not a guy to watch,” she said in a confessional about Popper after he didn’t jump up and dance on the bar with her.
The reality star told Page Six that she is still friends with Popper and has spoken to him about his relationship with Madonna.
“I mean, we joked about, ‘Oh, if this is true, it’s Baller,’ and he’s very vague. Nobody knows the truth,” Feher told the newspaper, adding that this was “the coolest thing that ever happened” to her. and Popper.
He had a short NFL career

Popper stayed in the state for college, playing defensive back for Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. He was a Rowan Scholar-Athlete and first-team All-New Jersey Athletic Conference selection in 2013 and 2015, and helped lead his team to the 2013 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship.
After college, Popper had a brief NFL career, participating in the Arizona Cardinals’ 2016 rookie minicamp, but was cut before the season started. He was then called up to the Indianapolis Colts in 2017, but they also released him.
After his time in the NFL, Popper sold insurance for New York Life, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He has numerous tattoos

Although there is no news yet about world adventures with Madonna, Popper has traveled a lot himself.
In 2018, he went zip-lining with his brother in Hawaii and enjoyed a trip to Greece, and in August 2023, he shared a black and white shirtless photo from a trip to Lisbon, Portugal.
