Marco Andretti is a racing car driver from the United States. He is a member of the famous Andretti racing family and drives the number 98 for the American racing team Andretti Herta Autosport, which competes in the IndyCar Series (currently known as the NTT IndyCar Series). The premier level of open-wheel racing in North America, as well as the Michelin Pilot Challenge, a touring car and stock car racing event organized by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA).

Biography of Marco Andretti
Marco Andretti was born into racing aristocracy. His younger sister is Marrisa Andretti, and his half-brother is Lucca Andretti, the son of Michael Andretti and his second ex-wife, Leslie Wood. Since 2006, Andretti’s father has been married to model and former beauty queen Jodi Ann Peterson. Marco and his family grew up in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. Andretti graduated from LA, California’s Notre Dame High School.

Many may believe that Marco Andretti’s success is due to the fact that he was born into a racing family, but this is not the case.
In 2005, Andretti competed in the Star Mazda series. He was a senior in high school at the time. He won three times in the Indy Pro Series: in St. Petersburg (Florida), Liberty Challenge (Indianapolis) and Sonoma Raceway (located at Sears Point in the southern Sonoma Mountains in Sonoma, California).
Marco participated in the Indianapolis 500 on May 28, 2006 and was named Rookie of the Year. Andretti joined the Honda Racing F1 Team for the second time on February 7 and 8, 2007, after testing their Formula 1 for the first time on December 16, 2006. Marco Andretti, then 19 years old, won the Indy Car League at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California, August 28, 2007 After he won, his career took a big turn. After a disappointing 2007, Andretti began his comeback in 2008 when he won his first IndyCar Series pole at the Milwaukee Mile. In 2009, Andretti achieved his best result in Texas, where he finished fourth. In June 2011, he participated in the IndyCar series and won at Iowa Speedway.
2013 was a breakthrough year for him, as he remained in the top five throughout the entire Indy 500 auto racing series and qualified in the top ten for the double leg of the event in Toronto. In 2018, Alexander Andretti traded his team number 27 for the team number 98 of Alexander Rossi.
