Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend, drummer Maxx Morando, were seen in style.

The two were first linked in December 2021 when they were photographed cozying up backstage during the singer’s NBC special Miley’s New Year’s Eve as they held hands and danced to the music.

Cyrus was previously seen at Gucci’s “Love Parade” fashion show in Los Angeles with Moranda in November 2021, and posted a photo of them together during the event on her Instagram.

In March 2023, Cyrus and Morando made another public appearance together, at the Versace show in Los Angeles, and recently the “Flowers” singer gave him a special salute as she took home record of the year at the Grammys.

He is younger than Miley Cyrus

Born in 1998, Morando is six years younger than Cyrus, although their actual birthdays are very close. While Morando is a Scorpio born on November 16, Cyrus is a Sagittarius born on November 23.

He plays several instruments

Morando is best known for playing the drums, but he can also play the guitar, which he demonstrated during an Instagram Live video in 2020. Morando is currently the drummer for the band Liily, but before that he was the drummer for the Regrettes from 2015 to 2018.

He met Miley Cyrus on a blind date

In an interview for the cover story with British Voguethe “Cvijeća” singer told how she met a fellow musician.

“We got a blind date,” Cyrus said. “Well, it was blind for me, not really for him,” she clarified on her way out. “I thought: The worst that can happen is that I leave. ”

He is also a fashion designer

During the interview with Vogue in September, Cyrus revealed that Morando helped create one of her festival looks alongside designer Shane Kastl.

“This look is a unique collaboration between two of my favorite up-and-coming artists, Maxx Morando and Shane Kastl,” she told the publication of one of her outfits. “Their collaboration is a perfect example of sustainability becoming the next phase of fashion and proving that anything can be reinvented, which resonates with me deeply.”

Although the couple first sparked dating rumors in December 2021, they first stepped out together at the Gucci “Love Parade” fashion show in Los Angeles with Moranda in November 2021. That December, the two were seen getting close Miley’s New Year’s Eve special in Miami.

In April 2022, the two seemingly went public with their romance as they were photographed sharing a passionate kiss in West Hollywood.

They were later seen together at the Versace show in LA in March 2023, posing together for photos and walking the red carpet hand in hand.

He worked with Miley Cyrus on Summer vacation without end

Morando worked on two songs — “Handstand” and “Violet Chemistry” — from Cyrus’ latest album, Summer vacation without endand shared a celebratory post about the project on Instagram.

Her lead single from the album, “Flowers,” won two Grammy Awards in February 2024, and Morando was on hand to celebrate with her at the event. Although Morando and Cyrus did not walk the red carpet together, the couple was photographed kissing at their table during the ceremony.

Miley Cyrus has a special ringtone for him

During it British Vogue interview for the cover story, the publication noted that the singer received a phone call from Morando. Her tune for him is Erykah Badu’s “Tyrone,” to which she commented, “I call it a ‘sexy boyfriend tune.’

As Cyrus took home her first two Grammys, she sweetly saluted her boyfriend as she took home record of the year for “Flowers.” In addition to thanking her team, Cyrus paid tribute to her mom and sister, who were sitting in the audience, as well as Morando, whom she called “my love.”

During the show, the couple was photographed kissing while sitting together during the ceremony with Cyrus’ family.
