Early life

Born in Portsmouth, United Kingdom on January 10, 1999, Mason Mount has family roots from Portsmouth. Mason Mount belongs to a middle-class family that loves football. The player’s mother is a housewife.

Career

Mason Mount joined Chelsea in 2005. In the 2013-14 season, he made his debut for the Under-18 team. During the 2016-2017 season, Mount Mason played for both the Under-18 and Under-21 team.

Chelsea consider him a talented young player and as such, it didn’t take long for Chelsea to sign him to a four-year contract in July 2017.

Mount was sent to Dutch Eredivisie club Vitesse on a season-long loan on 24 July 2017. On 26 August, the player made his debut as a 77th minute substitute. AZ in a 2-1 loss at home. The player then had his first club in the first round loss of the KNVB Cup to Swift. He played all 90 minutes of the match, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

Mount made 39 appearances for Vitesse and scored a total of 14 goals. The player returned to Chelsea after his loan expired.

Mason Mount represented at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in 2016. He also participated in the UEFA European Under-19 Championship and was named Golden Player in the match. He was later named in England’s 23-man squad for the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
