Season 2 of Secret Celebrity Renovation will premiere on CBS on July 29, 2022, featuring nine celebrities. These celebrities are planning a surprise home makeover for their loved ones. On CBS and Paramount+, viewers can see the shocked expressions on loved ones’ faces when they see their new interior. Nathan Chen, the 2022 Olympic figure skating champion, is one of these nine celebrities. Nathan Chen won the title three years in a row. Nischelle Turner will host the return of Secret Celebrity Renovation. She will be joined by Sabrina Soto, a famous interior designer, and Survivor star Rob Mariano.

Secret Celebrity Renovation guest Nathan Chen is a three-time world figure skater and six-time US national champion. In early 2017, he won gold at the annual United States Figure Skating Championships. During the 2022 Olympics, the 23-year-old finished ahead of Yuma Kagiyama and Shome Uno, winning gold with a world record 333.60.
The skater won gold in 2018, 2019 and 2021 while being coached by Rafael Arutunian and choreographed by three-time Olympic dancer Shae-Lynn Bourne. He also made Olympic history by winning gold in men’s figure skating, becoming the first American skater to do so since Evan Lysacek in 2010 and sixth all-time. The triumph was even more significant because she was the first Asian-American figure skater in history to win an Olympic gold medal in figure skating. Michelle Kwan, a two-time Olympic medalist and five-time world champion in figure skating, is Nathan Chen’s role model.
In an interview with Time.com she said:
“It won’t be long until athletes start comparing themselves to Nathan Chen. He will inspire future generations of skaters who will hear his Olympic experience and understand that nothing is impossible.”
Time magazine has chosen him as one of the 100 most influential people in 2022. Time magazine named him one of the leaders of the next generation in 2017. Secret Celebrity Renovations Nathan Chen is one of five first-generation American children born in Utah to Chinese parents. Chen stepped on skates for the first time when he was three years old, but his chances of making it to the major levels were minimal.
Despite financial constraints, Chen’s mother, Hetty Wang, did not let him give up on his aspirations. It will discuss the psychological impact of Nathan Chen’s loss at the 2018 Olympics and how he overcame the obstacles to become known as the Quad King after the 2022 Beijing Olympics. Olympic gold medalist, Four Continents champion in 2017, three-time Grand Prix Final champion (2017, 2018, 2019) and ten-time Grand Prix medalist (8 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze). Chen was also a member of the United States Olympic team that won bronze in the team event in 2018 and silver in the team event in 2022.

Nathan Chen will join Secret Celebrity Renovation Season 2, where he will give back to his community as a 2022 Olympic gold medalist and Utah resident. Although Chen’s mother and extended family played an important role in his career, he couldn’t choose just one and decided to help restore the sports facility and rink where he grew up training. He stated:
“The more people that pass through this facility, the happier I am. I have spent so much time here because I know how much pleasure figure skating can bring to people.”
